At Physio Strong Albany, our fully equipped rehabilitation gym is a unique space where your health, fitness, and injury recovery are our priority. We combine the expertise of both Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists to deliver personalised programs in a supportive, uncrowded environment.

How Our Gym Works
Step 1: Book Your Initial S&C Consult
Start with a “Strength and Conditioning” (S&C) consult, where our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists assess your needs, set your goals, and design your program.
Step 2: Build Confidence with 1:1 Support
Depending on your needs, you may have follow-up one-on-one sessions to learn your exercises under close supervision.
Step 3: Choose Your Training Option
- Supervised Small Group Classes – Train in a small group ($35/class*) under the guidance of our Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists.
- Independent Gym Sessions – Once you’re confident, train independently using your personalised program at times that suit you.
Step 4: Ongoing Progress Reviews
We review your program every 4–6 weeks to keep you challenged and progressing toward your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! With our weekly membership, you’re welcome to attend multiple times per week during available time slots. Speak to us about how often would suit your goals and program.
At Physio Strong Albany, there are no joining fees, lock-in contracts, or charges if you’re not using the gym. If you’re away or unable to attend for a week (or longer), you simply won’t be charged for that period. Just let us know, and we’ll adjust your membership accordingly.
No. We use a booking system to keep our gym calm and spacious, so you have plenty of room and time to focus on your session.
Many health funds cover supervised sessions with Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists. Check with your insurer for your level of cover.
